Hi guys, When Chuck and I last visited with Grandma and Grandpa, it was clear that a local So.Cal. reunion would be their preference. We discussed possible locations such as Big Bear or area military housing. Grandpa has some info about cabins on the beach at Camp Pendelton but unfortunately you can't make a reservation there earlier than 2 months ahead so we decided that that would not allow enough time for travel planning. So that's out. Grandpa thinks that there are other rather nice military facilities available in the area, but he didn't have any info about them. We also talked about the possibility of renting summer housing on a college campus.
Bottom line - we need a volunteer to do the research and pull together some options. If someone wants to do the initial research, Chuck and I can do a site visit if needed. Any takers? Here's a website to get you started. www.uniquevenues.com

I've been looking up some options, so I'll keep that up. Not sure how to look up military options, though. Can anyone help me there? Do you need to be active duty/veteran?
