Summertime in Alaska

Just a head's up...June is the only good time to visit Alaska. That is the warmest month, and when the days are the longest. Granted, the south east part of Alaska where a cruise would travel is really wet all year, but June is the best bet. August is a rather cool month, with a lot of rain, and sometimes snow. Sounds wierd because August is usually the hottest month for us, but June is your best bet. Especially if you are there over summer solitice (June 21), that is like the biggest holiday in Alaska.
